'UFC Hall of Fame’ MMA-vechter en voormalig kampioen middengewicht - komt naar ons land met zijn theatershow Michael Bisping - Tales of the Octago. Van vechtverhalen tot zijn leven buiten de ring: zijn niet aflatende gedrevenheid en vastberadenheid zorgen voor een inspirerende en vermakelijke avond voor alle MMA- en sportfans.
Michael Bisping zegt zelf het volgende over zijn show: "After the success of my first one man show in Toronto in 2019, I am coming to Amsterdam, so join me as I take you through the highs and lows of my fight career, sharing many unheard stories and insight into the fascinating sport of Mixed Martial Arts, which I expect will leave you laughing your head off while also being inspired to conceive, believe and achieve. From my early days of working in a slaughterhouse, living in my car and all the way up to winning the middleweight world title in the UFC to retiring nearly blind, I have quite the story to tell.”
Na een ongelooflijke 13-jarige carrière, waarbij hij onder andere zijn rechteroog verloor, werd Bisping UFC-analist bij BT Sport en ESPN en schreef hij de bestseller Quitter's Never Win. Hij is de presentator van de populaire Believe You Me-podcast en heeft een succesvolle acteercarrière met rollen in The Journeyman, xXx Return of Xander Cage en Den of Thieves. Begin 2021 is een documentaire over hem, genaamd Bisping, uitgebracht.
